My name is Mark and ever since childhood I've always had pets in my life. From dogs and cats to guinea pigs and budgies my understanding of the bonds formed with pets was established from those early days and has kept on growing ever since. These relationships with my pets has led me to appreciate how much a good pet portrait can mean to their family and made me want to give others the joy of their pet as a work of art.

I work on high quality Windsor & Newton Bristol Board paper and use Faber Castell Polychromos pencils as they give the best vibrancy when it's needed and are also excellent at creating softer tones to fully capture the pet in all their glory! When painting I use oils on canvas as these are simply tried and tested to give the best finish.
